Live Like A Millionaire

Recently i had read a magazine, Thrive.

One of the post which i would like to share with all of my friends is "Live Like A Millionaire".

There is a country tucked in the far south-eastern corner of France. This tiny independent principality conjures up visions of GLAMOUR, STYLE, GAMBLING and more MILIONAIRES PER sq KM than anywhere else in the WORLD.

In THIS COUNTRY, FERRARIS are as common as our KELISAs, and all day long there is a steady stream of beautiful people heading for the gambling tables that THIS COUNTRY is so famous for. But THIS COUNTRY is not just for the opulent. It is also for those of us who would like to sample this self-indulgent lifestyle, if only for a day or two.

The tiny city-state prvides a tax-free heaven for millionaires who come here for the balmy weather and a lifestyle befitting the rich and famous no taxes means more money to play with. Everywhere you look there are BIG BOY's TOYS that are resplendently displayed to the thosands of tourists who come to feel part of the lifestyle. Here everybody wins as the rich appear to love flaunting theire wealth and the wannabees love to match. For those who feel like real winners, THIS COUNTRY's casino is the place that lures those who feel lucky. If you visit just one place in THIS COUNTRY, go to the Jardins des Boulingrins Square that is situated immediately in frount of the casino. This is where the luxury cars are parked and, of course, entice inside all those who think they can beat the casino.

No More CollEge Lifes

Although i paid the fee for 1 semester,I'm not going back study oversea in Australia anymore.

I miss there so much, my teacher, my friends(Clement the gambler, Jonathan-The one who lose everything for me,Tionglim- who steal my sunglass), the lifestyle, and foods.

But my best friend is most important reason for me to stay in Malaysia. He is not going back to Australia too, so am i.

Recently, in front of my dad's shop going to built fly-over and directly influence my dad's business. So, as a big brother in the family, i have the responbility to hand-over my dad's business.

Hope all of my friends enjoy their study or works. Skemang Skemang....

WOoooW! It is watering my mouth. What is this?

It is kaya kueh, i liked it very much since i were a child, i've just ate it on this morning from the Ah pek who i was finding for two month when i came back from Australia. It is very awesome!

It's made of glutinous rice, plenty of coconut milk and is coloured with a natural dye derived from a local flower, Bunga Telang (Googling this name produced the scirentific name Cnesmone javanica). And it is served with kaya, our local egg-coconut milk curd.

The main point is not the rice but the kaya. Without the kaya, it is TASTELESS. Not just any kaya. Gotta have the nyonya kind like the ones - thick, rich and smelling of pandan a mile away.

My Birth --> Day!

The flower's blossoming all along the footpath towards my bus stop, these are the beautiful scenic view that greets me nowadays. Well now i suppose you can already guessed what this means. Yep! It means spring is here which starts on September 1.

Well...Anyway, on September 6th was my 18 years old birthday, its one of the most memorable time of my life. My parents surprised me with $2000 and it was a really wonderful celebration with my friends.

It all began with a party in my homestay. My homestay's mother baked a beautiful cake for me. It was a fruit cake with plenty strawberry and kiwi. After birthday song, i made a wish then blew all the candles. My homestay's mother gave me the biggest piece. Yummy!

After the party, we went to Burswood Casino. I was 18 now, is legal to enter casino or alcohol's drinks. But when we waiting for buses, Tiong said he wants to go back vickery to take his passport. How dare he forgot to bring his passport along him. In casino, I lost $100 and so has Shane, us both were very pity.

It was about 1.30 in the morning, i saw Daisuke was sleeping beside the gambling machine. I warned Tiong to go back early, but he said he hasn't played much. We went home around 2a.m. and we all were very tired.

We had a day away in the sun and it was done us a world of good.

*Also give some credit to Tiong Lim for helping me.

House Mate From Japan

22-08-2008 Friday

Yesterday, my homestay's mother told me about a japanese boy will move in our homestay today.

Today was just like the every other day.

7.00 Morning * Jimmy woke me up but i was too lazy to get out the bed, so i slept again.

8.00 Morning * Woke up and washed up myself then had my breakfast which was two slices of toast with butter and strawberry jam, and a cup of milk. Then, walked to bus stop with Jimmy.

9.00 Morning * My class started.

11.00 Morning * End of my class.

11.30 Morning * Having having lunch with Jimmy at the canteen.

12.30 Afternoon * Went back homestay and met the my Japanese house mate whose name is Yamauchi Daisuke. He is a funny guy , when Jimmy introducing himself and said he is from Taiwan, Daisuke said " Oh...SOrry! Taiwan's baseball team was defeated by Japan's baseball team. So sorry!" Hahaha....Jimmy changed his emotion immediately.

2.00 Afternoon * Jimmy, Daisuke and me went to the city by bus to buy the phone card.

3.00 Afternoon * We were in a bus and on our way home. Suddenly, Shane gave me a ring and invited me and Jimmy go to play basketball, i wanted to reject his invitation because Daisuke was with me. But i cant, because Shane is my best friend forever.

3.30 Afternoon * Playing basketball with Shane.

4.45 Afternoon * Went to Curtin University's vickery house met Clement and waiting for Jimmy to finish his basketball game. Then, we went to city together.

5.15 Evening * On our way to city. Shane and Clement kept asking Daisuke about the Japanese word such as " what is the meaning of Yamate, Ye tek, Kimochi etc ." Then, Daisuke taught us a lot of Japanese words and Shane starting to mix the words with Thai. Finally, we made up a sentence which is " A Na Ta Chin Chin Ni Noi Ni Noi." Hahaha....We were laughing raucously when we teased each others with that sentence.

6.30 Evening * Having sushi for our dinner in the city, Daisuke taught us to order in Japanese. Hahaha...quite funny. When he trying to order in Japanese with the waitress, the waitress told him about she is not from Japan. Hahahahahahaha..... he was very embarrass.

8.30 Night * Jimmy, Daisuke and me went home by bus but Shane and Clement was waiting their friend in the city.

9.00 Night * Reached home then took a shower directly.

9.30 Night * Watching movie and helping Daisuke with his phone card.

12.30 Midnight * Switched off the lights and "GOOD NIGHT"

This Is The End Of Today
